The way God speaks via Mother church, our fortress and safeguard!

The Catholic tradition is based on a three legged stool- and effective base which has held strong against every form of attack for two thousand years of its existence.

The first of these is the Scriptures- and the Public tradition - the verbal passing on through words and actions- the observations, teachings, and collections of the Apostles, who witnessed Jesus-

 The Word of God in the Flesh.

Second comes the living tradition- the writings and theology accepted by a sort of universal body- as godly and of benefit- this includes the writings of the papacy, and that of the doctors of the church, as well as

though in a lesser degree, than that of the doctors,

but more than that of the successive popes- the writings of

the saints.

Third, but no less important is that which is the mediator of the other two- not so much the church which is part of the living tradition- the living passing on of truth, and beliefs, and practice- to say this in layman's terms,

but rather the Magisterium of the praying, listening church (Acts chapter 15),

that which is the safeguard of the Final Word of God,

which is the household of God,
