"Love one another and believe in the name of his Son" these are the demands of God.

"13:1. Let every soul be subject to higher powers. For there is no power but from God: and those that are ordained of God.

Omnis anima potestatibus sublimioribus subdita sit non est enim potestas nisi a Deo quae autem sunt a Deo ordinatae sunt "

Romans Chapter 13 Douay Rheims bible

Often, as a Catholic, and a christian, of birth, having been taught in a catholic school, and attending a catholic church, I have been shown the least amount of love, both from protestants, and from "new" catholics, who believe themselves above me and above the authority of the church. You often find "Catholic" websites that tell you to demand your church be run properly, or have mass in latin, or hold their views (the views of the site), to the extent that you create campaigns in your church. It is odd that these people would claim to be catholic, yet not respect the authority of the church, and its positions. If God places a teacher, or priest above you, why do you have right to know better. Yes, you may add to their lesson, or aid or even correct them gently, if such is God''s will, and ok with His church, yet to treat Godly authority with distain is not alright.

Equality in the modern sense, isn't Christian

"12:27. Now you are the body of Christ and members of member.
Vos autem estis corpus Christi et membra de membro

12:28. And God indeed hath set some in the church; first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly doctors: after that miracles: then the graces of healings, helps, governments, kinds of tongues, interpretations of speeches.
Et quosdam quidem posuit Deus in ecclesia primum apostolos secundo prophetas tertio doctores deinde virtutes exin gratias curationum opitulationes gubernationes genera linguarum"

1 Corinthians Chapter 12 as quoted on www.newadvent.org 15 may 07

As we see, euality (as in, all are equal and deserve equal say and possition), is not a christian concept. Equality in Christ is, but different people are given authority for differnt possitions, duties to God, and tasks.

Respect Is Due to right authority

12 "But to you who hear I say, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

New American bible.

As Christians, we are called to love our enemies, to greet them in the marketplace, as in- to really pay them human dignity, to give respect where it is due, if not simply for human existence, for God made everyone for a purpose, whether to save or show his mercy to the saved through the rejection and punishment of those who reject God, after having given every grace in time and help. As St.Paul said, God raised the King of egypt up, so He could gain glory among the nations, when Moses took His people from slavery, and God destroyed the king of Egypt.

We therefore, have a duty to respect all people, and tolerate all good intentioned religeon, for though not always righteous, all have a purpose to play in God's world. Everything works for the good of those who fear and love My God.
